A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

(*) [Game not actually canon]

The fully unofficial sequel to the widely-acclaimed furry Visual Novel “Echo”; Echo 2: This Time It’s Personal takes you back to the eponymous town five years after the events of the first game’s True Ending(**), following four of the main cast as they attempt to rescue Chase from the clutches of the local junkie community.

With a refreshing new take on the classic RPG Maker MV battle system(***), Echo 2: TTIP promises thrilling combat and a whole new exploration of familiar locales in its return to the original story’s beloved cast of characters(****).

(**) [Unlocked by beating the Jenna & Flynn routes on “Homosexual” difficulty in under 66 minutes and 6 seconds]
(***) [Via the Yanfly Battle Engine Core plugin]
(****) [The developers of Echo 2: TTIP accept no liability in the event that you hate any of the original story’s cast of characters]

__________________________________________

( For those of you who’ve played a previous release of Echo 2: TTIP, this version of the game is intended  to fix minor bugs and/or typos that were present in the version originally shared on the Echo server, but otherwise has no major changes to the gameplay or story.

The game consists of three main “dungeon” areas, each of which with its own boss, along with an optional side boss for those able to locate him; estimated playtime is roughly 3 or 4 hours depending on how quickly you choose to try and get through the game.

Please note that, even though Echo 2: TTIP itself is fully Safe For Work, those unfamiliar with the original VN should keep in mind that it contains both violent and sexual content. While Echo 2: TTIP can technically be played without prior knowledge of the original Echo, it’s recommended to read through the original not only for the sake of understanding references to it but also because Echo is just a damn good story and I fully encourage you to read it if you are able.
Echo Project’s official itch.io page containing a download for the original VN, along with their other works, can be found here:

Lastly; while this should hopefully go without saying, no offence is intended towards the Echo Project group or the original Echo in any way, and in fact Echo 2: TTIP was a labour of love that evolved from a quick offhand joke into its own full project after some encouragement from the main server several years ago. Hope you enjoy it! )

Hi people! I have just finished playing this game and I quite enjoyed it to be honest. Several times, its battles are more challenging than those I have seen in games like Deltarune.

By the way, I have a question. How do you change the game's difficulty so as to get the True Ending?

Furthermore, I have found this funny minor bug in the game: I swapped party leader places between Leo and Flynn and I ended up having two Leo's sprites in the same cutscene, one taking the place of Flynn's.

My best wishes for you! Thanks for delivering this labor of love to us. Bye!

If by the difficulty-based "True Ending" you mean the part of the description where it mentions this game following from an alleged "True Ending" of the first Echo, then that's just a joke; the original "Echo" visual novel that this game was based off of doesn't have any kind of "True Ending" to speak of so there isn't anything to worry about there. It's basically just a gag about how this fangame doesn't follow on from any of the "canon" events of Echo without having to break kayfabe.

The second part is definitely a glitch though; I thought I'd caught all of those before I uploaded but it looks like there was one I missed!
